If you are a Clinton supporter and are concerned about her chances, please consider these few, really really simple things you could do that surprisingly make a difference.
Remember, visibility is key. Show your support. It does not have to be 'over the top' but it can be tiny, yet effective.
(1) Go to www.hillarystore.com and buy a pin. If you are in a state where a primary is coming up (WI, HI, OH, TX, PA, etc) then WEAR THE PIN. Wear it with pride. Have confidence. You are entitled to support a candidate, after thought and consideration, and to express your decision. At the office I've made my Hillary pin practically fashionable. Four people followed my lead within the first week! It works.
(2) Go to www.hillarystore.com and get a yard sign or rally sign. Display it in front of your house. I've done this for five weeks now and I haven't regretted a moment. People respect my decision, and supporters honk as they pass!
(3) If you are a woman, write a random personal letter to a woman who lives in the state where a primary is coming up. Tell her, from the heart, why you are voting for Hillary and note that as women we need to come together and support her in a time of need. This is a really nice personal touch. Make sure the recipient is a stranger. It creates a nice bond and solidarity.
(4) Consider having a tag in your emails that expresses your support for Hillary.
(5) Donate something tiny - $10 bucks here and there - to www.hillaryclinton.com.
(6) Right now on www.hillaryclinton.com there is a set-up to make calls to Wisconsin. Consider donating one hour to make calls.
(7) Ask your local health food store if they are willing to have political candidate posters on their community boards. A store like Whole Foods won't do. For this task, you need a community-oriented small health food store. Sort of like the kind you see in college towns. My local health food store let me put fliers around the store. Again, visibility is key.
(8) Get a yard sign on www.hillarystore.com and put it on the grass divider of a major intersection. I did this in my state and it was great. Campaign headquarters let me have a dozen yard signs, the day before supertuesday. I practically littered my state within a one hour radius. This activity is fun because Hillary supporters honk or give the thumbs up as they pass you by. It felt great, like there was a connection between me and the next Hillster.
